Data controller. La Joya Resort & Residences and this website are operated by CY-DND HOMES LTD., which is the controller of your personal data. What we collect. When you send the booking and enquiry form, we record your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), arrival and departure dates, number of guests, preferred residence type and your note. We also record the language and page the form was sent from, your browser details, an approximate city and country based on your IP address and which ad or link brought you to our site.

Why we use it. To respond to your booking or enquiry, offer suitable dates and residences, send you a one-time email with a summary of your request and information about the resort if you gave your email address, follow up on your request and measure which channels our ads work through. We never sell your data, add it to marketing lists or send you messages unrelated to your request.

Legal basis. Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and the explicit consent you give by ticking the box on the form. Your data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the TRNC Personal Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we share it with. Only the La Joya reservations team sees your request. Service providers we use to run the site: hosting (Vercel Inc., USA), the protected repository where enquiries are stored (GitHub Inc., USA), enquiry notification and reply e-mails (Resend, USA) if you allow them, measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics and Google Ads – Google LLC, Meta Pixel – Meta Platforms, Microsoft Clarity – Microsoft Corp.) and WhatsApp, which opens when you send the form (Meta Platforms). As these providers' servers are located abroad, by ticking the consent box you also agree to your data being transferred abroad for this purpose only.

How long we keep it. We keep enquiry records for at most 2 years after our conversation about your request ends, then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will do so straight away.

Cookies and browser storage. Our site does not use cookies unless you allow it; in your browser it only keeps what the site needs to work: your consent choice, the day/night view, whether you have seen the opening animation and where you were when you reload the page. If you allow it, Google Maps loads in the Location section (connecting you to Google and sharing your IP address with Google). If you allow “Measurement and advertising”, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity cookies are used and which ad or link brought you to the site is remembered for 30 days. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page.

Your rights. You have the right to know whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to its processing and to withdraw your consent. Send your requests to info@lajoyacyprus.com; we reply within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
